According to my handy dandy countdown clock the California Bar Exam is 26 Days, 3 Hours and about 38 minutes from now. Yet by tommorow, I won't be any smarter.
Anyway, today's topic was Civil Procedure. It's not so much what can I sue on, but more so how do I sue, what court do I file in, and how can I make sure it stays there. It seems like a lot of stuff (filing deadlines, discovery requirements, various motions that can be made before, during, and after trial) but it is the one class in law school that is put to use in practice every single day as cases are won or lost on procedure. Personally, I really don't know why I had so much trouble with the subject in Law School as it is mechanical for the most part.
As for the MBE questions, I did a set of actual Con Law questions released by the National Conference of Bar Examiners and hit about 88%. They seem a lot easier than the Bar/Bri questions. Maybe that explains the 15 point bump everyone has on the actual exam.
WDR.
