Michael Randall has been involved in politics from an early age. From attending a Dukakis-Bentsen Rally at UCLA to standing on a bar stool to see William Jefferson Clinton's final major speech as President, Politics have always been a passion. Right out of High School, Michael interned with the Information Technology Team of the Democratic National Convention Committee at the 2000 Democratic National Convention in Los Angeles. In Los Angeles, Michael worked to create the largest computer network at the time for a National political convention. While attending California State University, Fullerton, Michael was active in student politics where he served as a two-term president of the Cal State Fullerton Pre-Law Society and as a student representative for the Humanities and Social Sciences Department. When the Governor raised the rates on students in the CSU and UC system, Michael worked with Cal State Fullerton students to form the group "Students Informing Students," which lobbied on behalf of students against the fee increases in Sacramento. After graduating in 2004, Michael returned to his role with the Technology Team for the Democratic National Committee in Boston serving as the Co-Logistical Manager responsible for the deployment of computer and technology to the delegate hotels and the convention site. Michael sees the need for greater communication and use of the Internet to help aid Democratic Candidates towards victory in Orange County and beyond.
"The world bursts at the seams with people ready to tell you you’re not good enough. On occasion, some may be correct. But do not do their work for them. Seek any job; ask anyone out; pursue any goal. Don’t take it personally when they say “no”–they may not be smart enough to say “yes.” - Keith Olbermann
